Thank You Really Isn’t Enough

Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is closed for 2016, and “thank you” falls short of expressing the gratitude the family feels. Time and again this fall, we watched stories unfold that brought the spirit of Papa’s alive.

There was the young couple who came to Papa’s with a teddy bear, and on their way out, left a $50 bill to buy pumpkins for the next family. And the young man who asked the young woman to be his wife in the Great Pumpkin’s Chair. And the volunteer who brought more joy to others with his high fives than he will ever know.

We are overwhelmed. Mrs. P liked to say, “To those whom much is given, much is expected.” It has been our greatest desire to share with the community the wonderful place we call home. In turn, your visit to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch brings us great personal joy. Your visit also allows us to support many organizations who extend their services in support of families and education. Thank you really isn’t enough, but until we reach a place where there are better ways to express our deep-felt gratitude, thank you will have to do.
