Blue sky and sunshine call to all of us, especially when it means that spring is right around the corner. Until we can get into the fields at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch, Papa’s busy supporting another family venture: Papa’s Granola.

Perhaps you’ve seen it or tried it on a visit to the pumpkin patch in the fall. We offer our one-of-a-kind, soft-n-chewy granola in six yummy flavors, and more recently, we’re offering Papa’s Granola in over a dozen retail outlets across North Dakota (including Bismarck-Mandan, West Fargo, Washburn and Minot)!

If you like blueberries or apples, cranberries or pineapple, cherries or peaches, we’ve got you covered. AND, if you like chocolate or caramel, then we’ve really got the answer to your next most favorite breakfast option or snack alternative. (In case you’re interested, Papa likes his granola best when it’s on top of his ice cream or pancakes!)

While it’s just our second year, Papa’s Granola follows the model of Papa’s Pumpkin Patch in supporting organizations that have a heart for families. In 2016, we invited retailers who’d been with us for the year to identify a local charity that mattered most to them. That charity received a contribution from Papa’s Granola on behalf of the retailer’s employees.

It’s fun to think about “growing” another business with the same pay-it-forward model as Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. You can bet we’ll find time to nurture Papa’s Granola and get into the field as soon as spring is here for good!
