WOOT! WOOT! Papa’s Pumpkin Patch opens 1 week from today! That’s right. Monday, Sept. 10 at noon, Papa’s will be open for the season.

This weekend, here’s a bit of what we’ve been doing to get ready: putting up flags and banners; getting Papa’sville in place; working on the corn maze (yes, Papa has a corn maze this year!); lots of sampling on the three zip lines (we even had Mrs. P out for a zip last evening); putting up the birthday party tents; locating the train stations for Monster Wagon Rides and Sebastian’s Train Ride; getting the gift store set up; and lots of other things we don’t even remember!

Suffice it to say…Papa’s getting REALLY excited for the season to start.

Oh, and one other thing. We did so more work on the Touchstone Nature Trail Take a look at the picture and see if you can figure out what you’re seeing. It’s more than a orange-covered tunnel. There’s something very special on the right side of the tunnel. Got ideas?
