Gooooood morning, everyone! There is snow on the ground BUT it’s not coming down. Let me tell you … around here, no precipitation is progress!
So here is our plan for the next few days. We are closed today, Monday, October 14th and will stay closed through Wednesday, October 16th.
On Thursday we will open the gates and prepare for a HUGE party! The weather is going to be on our side (fingers crossed), we will have everything cleaned up from the storm, and all activities will be running.
In the mean time, here is what we are to… The pictures above show a small glimpse into what the storm brought our way… Our sling shot tarp needs repair, we have tree’s down that need cleaning, and we are hoping that everything melts off and dries out.
In addition, we would like to have all of our produce back on display so it looks like the Papa’s you’ve come to know and love. Many of you have asked how you can help? We are looking for as many volunteers as we can get on Wednesday, October 16th from 4-6pm to help unload produce into the yard and onto displays.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of this place and without generous people like yourselves, Papa’s wouldn’t be possible. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you Wednesday afternoon (for unloading) or Thursday!
