YES! Sunday, Sept. 11 is here and at 12 noon, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is open for the 2016 season. The family is excited to welcome you, and Mother Nature appears to be on our side with a forecast of sunny and 84 degrees.

Grab your sunscreen and bring your wagon if you have one. Remember: BYOB (bring your own wagon) to Papa’s, and you get one free admission in your group. Regular admission is $4/person, and toddlers two years and under are free.

Sunday, Sept. 11 is extra special for a couple of reasons. First, Papa is pleased to honor our military personnel on 9/11. If you show your military ID, Papa is covering your admission and humbly says “thank you” for your service. Secondly, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is the host location for the Apple Dash Obstacle Course, a fundraiser for the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation.

Papa’s will be open from Sept. 11 through Oct. 22, 12-7 pm daily, weather permitting. Always check Papa’s website or Facebook page if the weather is questionable. We try to post by 10 am our intentions for the day. And if the weather changes significantly during the day (yep, that happens in North Dakota), we will post any closure as soon as the decision is made.
