We’re Working on a Bountiful Harvest at Papa’s!

close up of corn loAlmost daily, Papa is receiving more favorites from the fields as harvest is underway. On Monday night, we unloaded New Moon (large white) pumpkins, Wee Bee Little pumpkins, Snow Balls (small whites), a wide variety of gourds and Lunch Ladies, and decorative corn.

Many of you have been waiting patiently for the corn, and it is finally here! We will start peeling and tying the decorative corn today. It is $1/ear or $3 for a tied bunch of three.

barn scene thru leaves loIt’s truly fall weather this week. The leaves are turning and falling to the ground; there’s a steady breeze; and the sky has the look of October across it. Be sure to wear an extra layer or two — maybe even bring a hat and gloves — that way you can enjoy being outside and the crispness of the air.

Papa expects to have more pumpkins, squash and related fall decorative items throughout the coming days. As produce arrives, we’ll let you know.

Take good care,

Papa
