There was a hint of fall in the air this morning, and Papa couldn’t help but think: three weeks from today — on Monday, Sept. 15 — we begin welcoming our first field trips of students and day care children for the 2014 season.
Already, there are 25 groups scheduled from as far away as McLaughlin, South Dakota. That’s over 500 children ready to come and play with Papa! In 2013, Papa’s Pumpkin Patch welcomed more than 5,500 children as a part of our field trip program available Monday through Friday during the pumpkin season.
If you are a teacher, home school parent, or day care provider and would like to learn more about bringing your group to Papa’s, you can visit our website at www.papaspumpkinpatch.com. We schedule groups from 9 am to 3 pm during the week.
Papa is most grateful to the Bismarck-Mandan Retired Teachers Association since they provide the bulk of the volunteers who greet and manage our field trips once the children arrive.
Hmmmmmm. Just three weeks left. Then the fun begins!
See you soon,
