The good news is that opening day for Papa’s Polar Patch — Thursday, Dec. 26 — looks like it will be in the high teens and it should hit the 20s for the weekend. That’s about perfect temps for a polar patch.
Papa’s Polar Patch will be open Dec. 26 through Jan. 5 from 12-5 pm daily. The polar patch is in the same location as Papa’s Pumpkin Patch: 5001 Fernwood Drive, Bismarck. The big red barn is now converted to Papa’s warming house, complete with a fireplace, concessions and the makings for s’mores to roast over the bonfire (outside, of course).
There’s loads of free family fun with the bale obstacle course still in place; two slide mountains, the castle of caves, Papa’sville, a zoomin’ zip line (right in the back yard), and for a small fee — horse-drawn sleigh rides and old-fashioned sled rides.
For the first time this polar patch season, Papa is offering a group rate for 10 people or more. Call Papa’s ahead of time and book your group visit; you will receive three free tickets with each admission of $5/person! To book your group, contact Mrs. P (Suzie) at firstname.lastname@example.org or 701-258-8469.
If you have a house full of relatives visiting for the holidays and you need something crazy fun for them, call ahead before your visit to Papa’s and schedule a time for your group. When you and the rest of your group arrives, you will pay $5/person in the group and get 3 FREE tickets for each person in the family/group. You can use the tickets for sleigh rides, sled rides or concessions.
The family looks forward to seeing you for Papa’s Polar Patch!
