Forty-five days from now Papa’s Pumpkin Patch will open for the 2013 season, and Mrs. P is ready to schedule groups now! (That’s her in the photo with her favorite bud, Sandy. Most of the kids visiting Papa’s call her Marmaduke.)

Mrs. P manages the field trip scheduling from Monday through Friday — in 2012 that was over 200 groups and more than 5,000 children from daycares, schools and home school programs that visited Papa’s. Groups can schedule a visit to Papa’s beginning Monday, Sept. 9 and through Friday, Oct. 18. The first available time slot on any weekday is 9 am and we schedule groups on the half hour.

HOW DO YOU SCHEDULE YOUR GROUP?

The easiest way to schedule your group for a visit to Papa’s Pumpkin Patch is to email Mrs. P at mrsp8469@aol.com. Let her know the day you want to visit, the time of your visit (we usually plan for at least an hour for class and groups), the number of children in your group, the number of adults in your group, the age or grade of the children, and your contact phone number, along with the phone number of the school if that’s applicable.

Groups that schedule Monday through Friday receive the “Dollar Deal.” This means for $1 per person, your group will receive a free train ride, a small pumpkin (for each child or student) that you can pick up before you leave, and Papa’s famous pumpkin cookies for everyone in the group. Did we mention you get all of this for only $1?

The schedule is filled on a first-come, first-served basis so it’s best to contact Mrs. P as soon as you know when you’d like to bring your group to Papa’s. We look forward to seeing you this fall!
