The sun is shining, and Saturday, Oct. 20 is the final day of the 2018 season at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. We will be open from 12-7 pm, and all of our extra activities will be available from 12-6 pm.
YES! We still have pumpkins at Papa’s. We have small, medium and large pumpkins; a good variety of squash and gourds; and we still have some small square straw bales. Papa is sold out of Snowballs (the small white pumpkins), New Moons (the large white pumpkins) and Warty Goblins (the medium-sized pumpkins with warts and bumps all over). If you are a baker, we have a good supply of sugar pumpkins — the variety often used for pumpkin pie and plachinda.
DOUBLE YES! If it seems too soon for Papa’s to be closed, then plan now to visit us next Friday, Oct. 26 or Saturday, Oct. 27 from 6:30-11 pm. Papa has partnered with the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation to host a Pumpkin UnParade. Students and community members are carving over 1,000 jack ‘o lanterns this week. They will be lighted and on display all across Papa’s Pumpkin Patch: on the zip line towers, around the bale castles, everywhere!
For just $20 per car, you, your family and friends can wander through the pumpkin patch, grab a hot chocolate or apple cider, and enjoy the outdoors in a brand new way: among displays lighted by hundreds of jack ‘o lanterns! Did we mention that everyone gets glow sticks to wear?
The UnParade is a fundraiser for mental health programming in the Bismarck Public Schools system. Visit Pumpkin UnParade on EventBrite to buy your tickets now.
