It takes several hundred volunteers to make the magic at Papa’s happen each fall. As we move into October, Papa and the family would like to publicly thank the volunteer “magic makers” who helped serve you — our guests — in September.

From Sept. 14 through Sept. 30, there were 13 groups volunteering at Papa’s They include: Dollars for Scholars, United Methodist Church in Mandan, Special Olympics, the local chapter of the Society for Professional Engineers, St. Mary’s Grade School PTO, Century High School Centahnas, St. Mary’s High School Music Department, Bismarck-Mandan Retired Teachers Association, Connect1d Juvenile Diabetes, University of Mary Occupational Therapy students, Prairie Rose Lady Lions, Bismarck Blizzard and the University of Mary Math Science Association.

In addition, 15 different groups volunteer with the Ehrmantraut Academy of Martial Arts and Music to provide concessions at Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. Concessions are available Thursdays from 5-7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-7 pm.

We are grateful to each volunteer for the time, talent, smiles and energy they share with all of our visitors and guests. They truly are magic makers!
