Check Out Papa’s Map of Activities for 2013

There’s strength in the name Papa’s Pumpkin Patch. Folks realize we have pumpkins, and once they visit, they find out we have LOTS of pumpkins! There’s also a challenge in our name: it really should say Papa’s Pumpkin Patch…and a whole lot more.

Here’s what we mean.

2013ColoredHandoutWhen you visit Papa’s, you find a wide variety of produce — more than a dozen types of pumpkins, squash and gourds. You’ll also find an equal number of photo opportunities like Billy Bob the Cornstalk Horse, the Giant Pumpkin’s Chair, the ever-popular barn scene, a handful of stops on the Nature Trail and the beautiful Scarecrow Mural.

Whether you brought the family or just want a reason to act like a child, there are several free activities to enjoy during your visit. If you take a look at our 2013 map, you can find the Corn Maze, the Castle of Caves, Slide Mountain, Chutes and Ladders, the Log Jam, Papa’s Obstacle Course, the Nature Trail with the Touchstone Bridge and scouting stations, the Corn Crib, Papa’sville, the Wee Zip Line, two slack lines, and you can climb aboard Mr. Antique or Papa’s little orange tractor.

Finally, on Thursdays from 5-7 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 pm, we add even more fun with a handful of activities for a small fee. Pony rides are $4/each; horse-drawn hayrides are $2/each; the Zoomin’ Zip Lines, Sling Shots, Pedal Carts, Sebastian’s Train Ride and the Monster Wagon Rides are all $1/each.

You’ll also find the Pumpkin Cannon and Special O Trebuchet taking aim at their targets during these same times (no charge). Concessions are available Thursdays from 5-7 and Saturdays and Sundays from 12-7 pm.

After looking at the list, it’s easy to see. We’re Papa’s Pumpkin Patch…and a whole lot more.

See you soon!

Papa
